The conference’s main purpose is to foster an exchange of
ideas among economists on opposite sides of the Pacific as well as around
the world. Hosted by QUT, this is the ninth biennial Pacific
Rim conference coordinated by Western Economic Association International.

address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail address, academic degrees held;
same information for coauthors; paper title (limit 60 characters and
spaces); and paper’s topic area (three appropriate codes from the JEL
“Classification System for Journal Articles”. |

Abstract
of 350 words or less. |

Paper
submission
and registration fees are due at the time of submission. Paper submission
is US$75, and is non-refundable if paper is accepted. Registration, which
includes US$45 for lunches and refreshment breaks on session days, is US$280
for members, US$360 for non-members (or join now and save!), and US$125 for
students. WEAI Institutional Member affiliates receive a 20
percent discount on conference participation fees. |
